Dear friends of Alpe-Adria fishing!

My home is in Südkaernten. From my hometown St. Primus it is a stone`s throw away from the country of Slovenia. Italy is also just a 45-minute drive by car. I live in a melting pot of three cultures, two of which I claim as a slovenian-speaking Kaerntner. My homeland is the heart of the Alpe-Adria region--Germanic, Slavonic and Romanic influences touch and integrate here. As unique as the frequently-changing landscape are the people of the Alpe-Adria region. With such a diverse cultural background it is not surprising to find a variety of cuisine. Above all here is the joy of being, the pleasure of the moment and interest in other people. Since ancient times travelers on their way over the Alps have passed through our homeland. Hospitality comes naturally to us!

With this as background I would like to show my guests the many fishing possibilities of this region. If you like flyfishing, spinfishing or fishing with bait you will enjoy the best time of the year here. From my hotel you can comfortably reach the top waters of Kaernten and Slovenia. And when it comes to the culinary aspects of your visit you and your family will enjoy an appetizing vacation. You’ll get a taste of typical Alpe-Adria cooking with our ever-changing menu—and everything is homegrown. Near the hotel your loved ones can easily reach crystal-clear lakes for swimming, gorgeous Alpine hiking trails, or impressive archeological sites and museums.
