Kleine Drau

This water is only open for houseguests of the “Alpe-Adria-Fischerei”. The character of the water lies between rocky river and alpine waters. Although placed aside, there is a path beside the water only for the use of flyfishers. The Kleine Drau`s advantage is lies in the equal water level—whether it rains hard or during thunderstorms. So you can always go fishing in the Kleine Drau, although other waters´ levels are too high. The water is alternating and covered ideally by two reservoirs. The Kleine Drau has multiple offers of feeding—from the may fly to great stock of bachflohkrebsen. The water is very clear so fishing is a real challenge. You can see every fish and cast exactly. A gentle hunt and cast distance is absolutely necessary to catch big and beautiful bach- and regenbogen trout.
